At Havens Home, independence is of the utmost importance and our purpose will be to allow you to live in accommodation which is your own, where you feel safe knowing that care or support is within close reach whenever you need it. Right at the beginning, the level of support will be agreed upon with you and you will receive specially tailored support.

Our care and support services are inclusive but not limited to the following;

• Maintaining physical and mental well-being
  • Behaviour management and coping strategies
  • Registering with GP’s, Dentist and Opticians etc.
  • Arranging and attending appointments
  • Liaising with social workers, care co-ordinators and other representatives
  • Acquiring daily living skills for greater independence
  • Budgeting and management of finance
  • Accessing services in the community and community activity
  • Supervision to comply with conditional discharge S37/41
  • Supervision and monitoring
  • 24 hours staff support depending on identified need or level of support required
  • Understanding health and safety issues around independent living
  • Supervision and support with preparing shopping list and going shopping
  • Accessing training, recreational and educational facilities
  • Support with preparing for employment and accessing employment opportunities
  • Assistance in accessing welfare benefits such as filling out forms etc.
  • Maintaining their tenancies
  • Ensuring rent and other bills,
